Nolo Servizi chooses Platform Basket

On a clear, mid-November morning, a very important load left sunny Poviglio to reach Modena-based Nolo Servizi 2000, one of the most established and best known aerial platform hire specialists in Italy.

Nolo Servizi 2000 chose Platform Basket again, expanding its large and diverse fleet of machines with a Spider 13.80 and a Spider 33.15.

The Spider 13.80 (13-metre working height- 8-metre side outreach) is the smallest platform in the Platform Basket spider range and has gained a foothold as an impressive innovation in the market because it is the only telescopic model in this platform range that includes a jib.
In the Spider 13.80, the crawler track undercarriage guarantees total stability, also in an even smaller package, thanks to its narrow-width capability.

The Spider 13.80 is a stable and easy-to-transport platform. These characteristics, in addition to a compact size that allows its use in confined spaces, make it an excellent choice for those involved in jobs like tree trimming and pruning, maintenance work, painting and any other work at a height that is hard to reach with a normal platform.

The strengths of the Spider 33.15 (33-metre working height) are its stability (variable-width undercarriage, from 1390 to 1690 mm) and its agility.

Its articulated double telescopic boom can achieve 17-metre up-and-over clearance and 15-metre outreach. In addition, it offers negative working capability of up to -6 metres.

Easy and intuitive, it is equipped with radio control of drive, stabilization and destabilization movements (even automatic); the basket remote control, with self-diagnostics display, allows adjusting aerial movements.

It also comes with auto-stow and variable three-position stabilization. The machine is supplied in standard, electric or hybrid version. It incorporates a Kubota water-cooled engine with automatic accelerator and, for eco-friendly operation, 24 Vdc/420 Ah battery drive, including electric pump and inverter. For electric operation, the standard version comes with 380Vac/3ph/15hp electric pump.

Platform Basket’s relationship with Nolo Servizi 2000 began in 2010 with the supply of a Spider 18.90 (18-metre working height) and grew stronger and stronger over time, thanks to the values shared by the companies.

Owners Simone and Federico Schianchi were there to receive the delivery of the two platforms and underlined that the motivations that drove them to choose Platform Basket were “the extreme reliability and high quality of the platforms manufactured by the Emilia Romagna-based company”.

Simone Schianchi, in particular, appreciated “the great ease of use offered by Platform Basket’s aerial platforms; they are thoughtfully designed and have a great working area.”
“We only want high-quality”, he continued, “and I found this value in Platform Basket’s products”.
