The “spider” line of industrial aerial platforms has propelled Platform Basket to the forefront as one of the top companies in the international aerial platform market. Platform Basket spider lifts are aerial work platforms featuring extendible tracks and simple, intuitive controls. They can reach different working heights ranging from 12 to 45 metres. Tracked spiders are extremely safe to use and offer operators a high level of comfort. In addition, their robust stabilizers deliver complete safety and stability during operations at a height.
Thanks to their rubber tracks, spider lifts can move in confined spaces and hard-to-reach points, providing excellent grip on the ground and adapting to less-than-optimal terrain conditions. Platform Basket spider lifts stand out for their extremely compact size, which make them particularly safe and efficient in tight spaces. Platform Basket tracked spiders are a great choice for those involved in jobs like tree trimming and pruning, maintenance work, painting and any other work at a height that is hard to reach with a normal platform.
Spider lifts are offered in three versions: standard, electric and HYBRID. In addition, in its pursuit for more eco-friendly solutions, Platform Basket has decided to also offer electric power with lithium-ion batteries, in place of the more common lead batteries.
In addition to the obvious benefits for the environment, this new source of power brings other advantages in terms of reduced weight, reduced noise pollution, longer life and energy savings.
The industrial aerial platforms from the Platform Basket Spider range also offer on-board selection of the charging power level depending on the availability of the electricity supply. For years now, Platform Basket has been manufacturing and commercialising solutions for the “big heights” segment. Its telescopic boom lifts incorporate the currently best technologies and are available in a hybrid version, powered by an engine compliant with the latest regulations against emissions and noise (EURO 5)
